As mentioned in the show a good friend of mine recently had his first book published. If anyone has an academic interest in the Second World War go and have a look at British Propaganda to France 1940-44: Machinery, Method & Message. I bet that's the first plug ever for a history book on an alternative music podcast

Excited about a small spruce up I did of the home page this week and a special show featuring new tracks by bands I have played previously.

Also very excited because the nice boys from Rieser are sending me a demo CD of their brand new album, The Well Dressed Thief. It's available as a download from their website (link in the show notes below), but is not yet available as a CD.

As soon as it gets here I will be writing a review of it for the Noize Makes Enemies webzine (link to the right). I have also written a review of the Gompa CD, which should be on the site soon.

Please go and have a look at it because I think It's one of the best review blogs out there. (And I'm not just saying that because I write for it)
