Sat, 28 March 2009 Here's the whole sorry tale of Jade Goody. (Trusty, trusty Wikipedia). I only really object to the fact that this horrible woman was a part of our lives here in the UK for 7 years for no good reason. She didn't even win the series of Big Brother she was on. At time of writing Great Britain has 7 total medals at the World Track Cycling Championships, equal top with Australia. We've still only got 1 Gold though. It says something that that is a little disappointing. Did anyone get the impression that I quite like that Transit Studio track? Not a great selection of videos this week. Pen Expers - Switch [Live Performance] Nadine Loren - Cyberspace Transit Studio - Somebody Noble [Live Performance, Poor Quality] The WMVP this week will be a special extended episode featuring one of the coolest things a band I've played has ever done for me. Roll on the PodCrawl and see you next week. Category: Video Links -- posted at: 11:39 AM Comments[1] |

Sun, 22 March 2009 Well there wasn't a delay in releasing the show, but there has been a delay on posting these video links. Since it's now so late I can tell you that Everton disappointingly lost 2-1 to Portsmouth and Mark Cavendish pipped Heinrich Haussler to the line at the Milan-San Remo. Rule Britannia! I realised after I finished recording that I made a mistake in the show. The man who won Tirreno-Adriatico was Michele Scarponi not Leandro Scarponi. Leandro Scarponi is a footballer. Just shows how small the team is that I can't even remember his name. Of course nobody cares about this. As I suspected, the Intercontinental Music Lab didn't play the track about LSD, but if you want to see the very entertaining concert the link is HERE. Not a great selection of videos this week. Rieser - Drinking Den [Live Performance] The Steps - Dagger OurAfter - Push The Pill [Live Performance] On Wednesday the Weekly Music Video Podcast will have a very funny home-made video featuring a belly dancer, a french maid and some murderous chefs. Sat, 14 March 2009 Another delayed release, but at least it's coming out on Saturday this week. Within the next few weeks I will probably have to move this site so expect lots of bells and whistles soon. You'll also probably have to re-subscribe, which is a pain in the arse for you and me. Any podcasters out there let me know what hosting you use, because I need the cheapest possible decent hosting/website builder package. Current best offer is US$18 per month for 3GB storage and 125GB bandwidth per month. Nice selection of videos this week. Brad Sucks has a fan submitted effort and the animated video from 2-L8 is very cool and a great example of cheap and effective video making. Brad Sucks - Fake It Here Come The Birds - Bravery And Defeat Attack! Attack! - You and Me ArthurKill - Can't Back Down 2-L8 - You Walk On Empty Streets Now (Part II) See you on Wednesday for WMVP with a great home-made stop motion video and on Saturday (hopefully) for another episode of Ourobouros Podcast. Sat, 28 February 2009 Happy Birthday to me! Who'd have thought I would make it all the way to 2 years. Certainly not me. I've nearly made it to 100 episodes too. Thanks to everyone who contributed and even those who didn't, but still got into the show. Sorry for the pestering and the haunting is now off. Also apologies for the background noise as well. Since I recorded this show I have actually upgraded my computer so it hopefully won't be a problem in the future. Since I'm not all that technical I'm absurdly proud of myself that I managed to install a new motherboard and graphics card all by myself. Since this is a special anthology show I'm not bothering to put together a video playlist. Frankly I can't be arsed and have better things to do. On Wednesday the Weekly Music Video Podcast will feature a fantastic fan participation video and on Saturday regular service will be resumed with Episode #90. So see you next time and remember it's promotion not piracy! Category: Video Links -- posted at: 11:51 AM Comments[2] |
